Favourite rally location?

I was lurking about in Scotland while on google maps the other day looking for places to visit for no reason, when I decided to head for Oban. So I had a look around the streets in the town, recognised a few of the pubs we`d been in when it was a national rally destination, some of them closed down and boarded up sadly. Then I decided to head for the old campsite along Corran Esplanade & onto Ganavan road which leads you to Ganavan Sands, where the old rally site was. It was a great location, right on the shore. This was pavilion which held the do`s

Its now been knocked down & the area is been revamped with new holiday flats, it would`ve been to go back though!..................................virtual tour over.

Sundays

Met up with a few of H.S.C. for a ride out to Hollimgworth Lake in Rochdale yesterday. Windy roads, tea, scones & no rain, lovely.

Strictly!

Strictly scooters was a laid back, stripped back day & night somewhere in Sherwood forest. Just a marquee, some d.j`s, one burger van & a bit of a party! Lucked out with the weather too which was perfect as we sat watching  scooters arriving with racks stacked with booze whilst being entertained by some live acoustic tunes in the afternoon.

 the weekend got the thumbs up from Michelle by the way!

So no cars then?

Going to this on saturday with the lovely Michelle. Its gonna her first rally which ideally should`ve been at a seaside in a nice comfy b&b, but its in a field, in a tent so verdict & photo`s to follow.
