Go Pro Fun

Playing about with my go pro camera, great things but i struggle with technology at the best of times & uploading & editing video clips has proved to be beyond my capabilities so far. For now though i can make do with taking some good photo`s, depending on the subject, that is! Made the wife laugh anyway!

Despite the reported shambles that VWD London turned out to be, S.I.P. scooter shop made a lovely little film edit of it, in fact all of S.I.P.`s clips are great & actually make scootering look really hip & modern. How do they do that?, they don`t even wear suits, or combats!!

Destination Unknown

Always loved Ed`s p2, it was featured in the 2nd scootering magazine that i bought back in 1991 & he`s still got it! This photo is from Whitley Bay 91, my first national rally.

Snuff

I had kind of forgotton about Snuff despite seeing them live probably more than any other band. First saw `em supporting Youth of Today at Liverpool Planet X & London. One night me & a couple of mate were trying to find a fourth housemate for our new house, so we called at Neza`s house. His dad told us he`d gone to a gig in Leeds, must be Snuff at the Duchess of york, we thought. So off we drove, got to the gig, had no money & the venue was packed out anyway. We could hear Snuff playing inside but could`nt get in. Down the side of the pub was a little alleyway where bands loaded gear in which lead to the back of the venue, so we walked down the alleyway to the doors at the end, opened them & there we were, virtually on the stage with while the band we playing. Only one thing to do......three of us ran onto the stage then dived into the pit! Caught the last half hour of Snuff  & found a new housemate.

Scoot & Destroy

Wish I could get my hands on one of these patches, They were available on http://2strokebuzz.com/ some years ago but it seems Thrasher magazine (where the the original skate & destroy logo came from) took exception to it and "asked" 2stokebuzz to stop selling them. Bad Thrasher!!!!!

Oil Can Cafe

This place opened up last october so thought it was worth a drive over, https://www.facebook.com/TheOilCanCafe Up in Hepworth near Holmfirth makes it a nice drive or ride there & fair priced fodder there too. Obviously its cars & the odd bike but scooters would`nt be out of place, what with its retro period vibe there.

2013!  we`re still here then. Had a smashing christmas.................glad its over though. Here`s to a dry new year!!!
